Some tournaments may request that you submit a digital copy of your engineering notebook, regardless of whether it was natively created as a digital or paper notebook. Notebooks are submitted through the team's RobotEvents.com logins by one of the team's registered contacts, and may be to either a native digital format or a scanned PDF copy of a paper notebook.
For Team Contacts
Step 1: Go to RobotEvents.com, Login, and click on “My Account” in the upper right corner.
Step 2: Immediately on your dashboard, you will see all of the teams registered to your RobotEvents account this season, and on the right-hand side is a link to a Digital Engineering Notebook.
Step 3: Once you have selected a team, enter the full URL to the team’s engineering notebook. Ensure sharing settings do not require login credentials to view.
If you enter a link that requires login credentials to view, you will get the error seen below. You must modify the sharing settings of your link to correct the error message.
Step 4: If the link goes through, you will see the link appear below. This means your notebook link is in the system, and you should be done!
Options to disable or delete the link appear after the link has been posted. A team may wish to disable the link after the season is over.
Step 5: Indicate your Engineering Notebook’s language:
Step 6 (Optional): Write a brief description and indicate where to find documentation for your team’s Innovate Award submission. Leave blank if not applicable.
